Welcome to FDU’s International School of Hospitality, Sports, and Tourism Management.
The FDU International School of Hospitality, Sports, and Tourism Management is home to two distinct areas of study: Hospitality and Sports. While different in many ways, they share some common traits as "lifestyle degrees": passion, entertainment, excitement and amazing customer experiences. Our distinctions include:
- CEOWorld Magazine ranked #6 on its list of “Best Hospitality and Hotel Management Schools in the World”
- Member of Hotel Schools of Distinction - only 10 select schools worldwide are part of this prestigious global network
- More than 700 internship and career opportunities are available to our students each year
- Our robust network of over 3,300 alumni in leadership positions in hospitality and tourism offer outstanding opportunities to connect to industry mentors
Our career-focused coursework — combined with a wealth of experiential learning — will prepare you to stand out as a confident and knowledgeable professional to prospective employers. We believe the entire hospitality industry has a common purpose: to deliver great customer experiences that drive business success. An FDU education encompasses the technology, business and consumer behavior aspects of the field while nurturing each student’s talents and skills.
The FDU Hospitality program is the oldest program of its type in the New York metropolitan area and one of the oldest in the country. Our more than 3,300 graduates have gone on to management and executive roles at hotels, resorts, restaurants and tourist destinations around the country—and around the world.
Our Sports Management program will prepare you for leadership positions in sport management, facility and event management, sports marketing and communications, athletic administration and other related areas. You'll begin taking Sports Management courses right away, and work to refine your skills in administration, information systems, accounting, communications and research.
